All Weather Walking!

The weather may not be typical of a usual June in the UK, however don't let a little shower here and there put you off from getting outdoors and exploring some of the finest scenery our country has to offer!
Visit our walking page for some ideas of how to incorporate a walk with a ride on the Ratty in one of our cosy, covered carriages. There are plenty of walks to choose from, so whether you fancy a leisurely amble to some pretty Lakeland scenes such as Ravenglass Beach or Stanley Ghyll Force or a more challenging fell walk in the Eskdale Valley - we have routes to suit all abilities.
It may actually be harder to decide on how to finish the walk - with a cup of tea and homebaked cake in one of our cafes or a hearty pint of local ale in our very own Ratty Arms!
