Loco-motion!

This morning two of our lovely locos - Synolda and Lady Wakefield - were loaded onto a very large van to begin their 140 mile journey south to the Kirklees Light Railway in West Yorkshire. Don't worry, they're not leaving the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway for good, they are visiting the Kirklees Light Railway for their seventh annual Steam & Diesel Gala event, which takes place this weekend.
Make sure you give them a wave if you see them on the M6 - they should be easy to spot!
