The Railway is the place to be this half term, bring the family to enjoy a whole host of events.
It all starts on the 27th October with Conservation Day - indulge in our local wildlife as we host owls and bats aswell as stands from the Copeland Red Squirrel Group and the RSPB. With arts and crafts available on the day at NO extra cost.
Next up we have a book signing on Tuesday the 29th. The Befana Drama is a new book by Gianna Hartwright aimed at 8+ it's a fantasy book that focuses on the charmed world of VIPBs (Very Important Present Bringers) and a bit of a tussle between Italy’s traditional present bringer, The Befana, and Santa Claus. This magical read is only £8.99 and could make an excellent Christmas present, simply catch the train to Dalegarth to meet the author and purchase this internationally rated book!
And on Thursday 31st as the sun goes down...the ghosts come out! Once again our hugely popular Ghost Train is back, leaving Dalegarth at 6.00pm, perpare yourselves for the fright of your life as the Railway's ghouls and ghosts cause things to go bump in the night! *Unfortunately the Ghost Train has SOLD OUT.* However why not travel on the 31st and enjoy our spooky atmosphere around the Railway.
So plenty of things to see and do this half term around the Railway, make sure you don't miss out!
