Heritage Train Weekends

NEW for the 2020 season introducing our Heritage Train Weekends. Enjoy a return steam journey from Ravenglass onboard Ravenglass Railway Museum and Preservation Society engines Synolda and Katie. The trip includes two static photo opportunities, at Irton Road on the outward journey and Murthwaite Crushing Plant on the return journey. This is a must do for heritage enthusiasts. Ticket options include: - Standard return heritage train Adult £18.00, Child £12.00 - Day Rover which includes a return journey on a heritage train and a scheduled return train journey on the same day. Please call the office on 01229 717171 after booking your ticket to book your seats on the standard return train. Adult £27.00, Child £18.00 - Weekend Rover which includes two heritage train returns and scheduled returns over the two days. Please call the office on 01229 717171 after booking your ticket to book your seats on the heritage return trip and both standard return trains. Adult £36.00, Child £24.00 Departures from Ravenglass 10.50 and 14.10. Return train times are 14.10 or 15.40. We recommend Rover ticket holders book the immediate return time on the heritage train to allow time to take the second trip. See below for more details.
