Are you searching for Halloween half-term activities in the Lake District? Join us for spooktacular fun and children’s themed activities at the railway in Halloween week! Stations and cafés will be transformed with ghoulish decorations, setting the scene for a frightfully fun adventure. The Ravenglass Railway Museum will also offer interactive exhibits and children’s activities.

There will also be the added seasonal spectacle of ‘double-header trains’ featuring two heritage steam engines rather than the usual one. There’s no better way to experience autumn than aboard a double-header steam train in Eskdale (selected times, subject to operations).
