The Ravenglass Railway Museum tells the story of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway’s rich heritage and its interaction with the valleys along which it operates. Discover artefacts, steam locomotives, and hands-on interactive features. It is the perfect destination for schools and special interest groups. Entry to the museum is free (donations welcome).

Our gift shops are conveniently located at both ends of the line selling heritage railway collectables, souvenirs, children's books, activity packs, and much more. You can even pick up a cold drink and some sweets for your train journey.

Our popular range of merchandise is also available from our online shop.

We have children's outdoor play areas located at both Ravenglass and Dalegarth for Boot stations, to allow your little ones to run off steam! Our adventurous family-friendly facilities will keep them entertained while you are waiting for the next train.
