We recommend that customers pre-book tickets before visiting us as we have limited tickets available on the day. This will also allow you to choose your carriage and seat. Please call us to pre-book bikes and wheelchairs onto the trains as we have limited space available.
We pride ourselves on being a dog-friendly tourist attraction. Dogs are welcome to travel on trains (except in Observation Carriages) for a small charge, and in some inside areas. Assistance dogs are permitted throughout.

The Turntable Café is located on platform one at Ravenglass station. Dogs are permitted inside this café on the ground floor and there is plenty of undercover outdoor seating. Enjoy hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, locally sourced pies and cakes, and full meals made to order, as well as picking up pre-booked picnics.
At Dalegarth for Boot station visitors will find Fellbites café, our contemporary eatery. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available at the station. Dogs are welcome on the lower level of this building. Cream teas are served at Fellbites café as part of our 'Cream Tea and Steam' gift experience.
