Easter Fun at the Ravenglass Railway

Eggstatic Easter activities will include our “High Speed Easter Egg Hunt” competition for children to complete on the train journey and the Ravenglass railway museum plays host to a series of free children’s activities. We plan to host our first Teddy Mountain ® Bear Build Workshops on selected days during the holidays. More reasons to visit. More than just a railway.
High Speed Easter Egg Hunt – runs for two weeks from 29th March to 14th April. Grab your quiz sheet from the main stations and keep an eye out up the track for some Easter letter clues. Make the word, hand in your quiz sheet, and if you are right, you will be in for a little Easter treat!
Esk-ellent Engine Drivers: The steam engines wouldn’t get very far without their drivers. As part of our River Esk Centenary exhibition, families can pick up a trail sheet in the museum to follow and discover some of the engine’s drivers from the very beginning until now.
Café Easter Bites – our cafes will be dressed in their Easter best offering an array of eggtastic treats. Pop in and treat yourself to a latte and slice of carrot cake or two!
