We are delighted to have teamed up with Muncaster Gardens to offer a new joint attraction ticket, helping visitors make the most of their time in the Western Lake District with two of the area's finest visitor attractions.
A day out in Ravenglass would not be complete without a visit to the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and Muncaster Gardens and we've made it easier than ever to enjoy them both, all through one easy booking.
A train ride in the Western Lake District
Begin your journey with a scenic ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway. Known as the ‘La’al Ratty,’ this charming narrow-gauge heritage railway winds its way through the stunning Eskdale valley. Enjoy breathtaking views of the coastal landscapes, rolling hills and distant mountains. Whether you're a train enthusiast or simply seeking a tranquil escape into nature, this journey promises an unforgettable experience
Explore the gardens of historic Muncaster Castle
Spend the second part of your experience wandering through the enchanting gardens of Muncaster castle. Renowned for their beauty and diversity, the gardens offer a peaceful retreat filled with vibrant flowers, ancient trees, and serene water features. Marvel at the exotic plants in the Himalayan gardens and relax in the tranquil surroundings.
Included in your ticket is a chance to watch the spectacular Bird of Prey and Owl show. This captivating display offers an up-close encounter with some of nature's most incredible birds, making it an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. You can upgrade to include the castle entry on the day.
