at Ravenglass & Eskdale Steam Railway

MuseumThe Ravenglass Railway Museum Trust was established to ensure the preservation of artefacts relating to the railway as well as other local exhibits and objects of historic interest. The Museum tells the story of the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway’s rich heritage and its interaction with the valleys along which it operates. This is done by collecting and conserving artefacts which represent the history of the area and the local railways from 1875 to the present, and displaying them for the benefit of local people, visitors to the Lake District National Park and interested people world-wide.
