We have implemented a brand NEW timetable for when we re-open. If you plan to visit, you MUST pre-book your tickets online before 9am on your chosen date of travel. We cannot guarantee to sell tickets on the day of travel. Our new timetable gives you the option to pick your departure and return times, however once booked you MUST travel on these trains. Please ensure that you have purchased train times that you are happy with. Single journey tickets are also available.
Customers will be required to wear a face-covering whilst on site at the railway. This face covering must be worn at all times, unless you are medically exempt or under 11 years old, including whilst you are in the carriages. To book a wheelchair you must call us on 01229 717171. Dogs are welcome on board for £1.50 each (not permitted in 1st Class). Unfortunately we cannot take bikes at this time.

NEW for our re-opening, picnic boxes are available online to pre-book and collect on the day of travel! Simply select the number of boxes you wish to purchase after you have picked your tickets online and these will be ready and waiting for you to collect! These can be collected from Ravenglass or Dalegarth and include the following:

We are now offering you the opportunity to privately hire our Eskdale Belle carriage and travel in total comfort! The carriage is available to be hired for up to 6 people (from only 2 family groups).
