In a bid to encourage visitors to explore more of the Lake District during their stay, Ullswater ‘Steamers’ and Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway in partnership with Lowther Castle, Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway and Eskdale Mill are offering double the hit of heritage and culture with a trio of new joint tickets.
Combining industrial heritage, stately homes and stunning gardens with heritage Railways and boats these experiences enable visitors to immerse themselves in the living culture of the region, learn about the people and processes that have shaped the landscape and discover for themselves why it was awarded World Heritage Site Status. With 82% of visitors rating the cultural offer in the region as ‘good’ or ‘very good’ according to Lakes Culture research, now is the perfect time to offer these new packages.
The newly launched tickets are;
• Cruise & Castle Lowther Castle & Gardens + Ullswater Steamers
• Mill & Railway Eskdale Mill + Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway
• Little & Large Lakeside & Haverthwaite + Ravenglass & Eskdale Railways
The trio of newly announced tickets brings the total number of participating attractions to seven, joining the popular Mansion, Boots & Boats ticket offered by Ullswater ‘Steamers’ with Dalemain Mansion & Gardens and the Muncaster Castle plus Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway experience. All joint tickets can be purchased online or on the door at the participating attractions.
